Job Summary
- Responsible for supporting the QHSE function and ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Fostering a conscious control environment within the company by ensuring safety protocols are being followed.
Job Role:
- Carry out basic daily checks on products in the tanks and aircraft refuellers (Bowsers). (i.e., density, appearance, water, and conductivity checks)
- Keep records of RCQ, COA, and release certificates, and report any difference that signifies an off-specification product.
- Conducting colorimetric and gravimetric analysis as at when due.
- Check the condition of all bridgers bringing products to the depot.
- Take record of the Differential Pressure Gauge (DPG) of the filters; prepare and document the filter assembly certificates.
- Prepare and keep appropriate records, files, and documents for quality assurance compliance purposes.
- Ensure timely calibration of laboratory equipment and report any faulty fixed facility before and after operations.
- Enforcing compliance with the company’s HSE policy, guidelines, and standards.
- Reporting and investigating accidents/incidents and near-miss incidents and recommending corrective action plans.
- Preparing periodic HSE reports, recording and analyzing HSE data and statistics related to HSE performance.
- Facilitating internal and external HSE audits and facility inspections.
- Scheduling and facilitating regular HSE meetings, training, and induction on safety policies and practices, accident prevention techniques, and accident reporting for employees, visitors, and contractors.

- Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with all levels within the organization.
- Capable of working independently and with minimum supervision.
- Teachable and willing to learn quickly.
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Logical approach to identifying and evaluating issues and problem-solving.
- Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

Minimum Qualifications
- BSc Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- 1 year of work experience in Quality Control
- Experience in HSE is an added advantage
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel.
